Justin and Hailey Bieber have added another high-end property to their growing real estate collection, purchasing a $12 million condominium at the prestigious 160 Leroy Street in Manhattan's West Village. The waterfront building, designed by renowned architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, is believed to be the couple's first publicly known residence in New York City, according to reporting by The Wall Street Journal.
Spanning roughly 2,800 square feet, the home features four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and panoramic views overlooking the Hudson River. The seller, real estate developer Steven Brauser, originally bought the apartment for $10.5 million in 2018 before listing it for $12 million earlier this year.
The purchase comes during a busy chapter for both stars. Justin recently released his seventh studio album, Swag II, and appeared as a headliner at this year's Coachella festival. Hailey, meanwhile, made headlines after selling her skincare company, Rhode, to e.l.f. Beauty in a deal reportedly valued at $1 billion, according to Robb Report.
One of the condo's bedrooms was designed by New York luxury staging company Interior Marketing Group as a children's room. The space includes a custom chalkboard wall that the Biebers reportedly intend to keep for their son, Jack Blues.
The transaction was handled by Adam Heller, Amanda Rosenberg, and Michael Gavin of The Heller Organization on behalf of Brauser, while Romy Hechinger of Compass represented Justin and Hailey Bieber. Heller also revealed to 6sqft that another residence in the building—a three-bedroom unit known as #9BS—sold for $8 million just one day before the Biebers finalized their purchase.
The West Village condo joins an already impressive property portfolio for the couple. Their holdings include an estimated $25.8 million estate in Los Angeles, a luxury home at the Madison Club in La Quinta valued at approximately $16.6 million, and a spacious lakefront residence in Ontario, Canada.
Completed in 2017 by the Ian Schrager Company, 160 Leroy Street is recognized for its striking architecture and emphasis on resident privacy. The Hudson River-front building offers features such as a private porte cochère and an on-site garage designed to provide discreet arrivals and departures.
Residents also have access to an array of luxury amenities, including a 70-foot indoor swimming pool, a full-service fitness center, a spa, and a dedicated children's playroom. The building has attracted several high-profile owners, including Fanatics founder and CEO Michael Rubin, who purchased a five-bedroom penthouse for roughly $43 million in 2018 before acquiring the neighboring penthouse from Ryan Seacrest in 2022 with plans to merge the two residences, according to Robb Report.
